first stop is kedai teteh indorasa
where we had our lunch package
the specialty of this resto is its three-coloured rice
(consisting of nasi puth, nasi merah, nasi ketan)
and its tempe which is huge (that's the umbrella over the rice!)
price per package is about 35.000

then we moved on to villa bougenville
it's located near maribaya and it's so flowery
some of us did hiking around the area (+- 2.3 kilometres walking track)
passing several playgrounds, chilly plantation, bird snactuary
and lots of green scenery
lovely place
entrance ticket per person is 10.000

they jump out of the water when people feed them
and will almost certainly eat your leg if you dare put it into the water
i almost did ^-^ hahaha ...

after ice cream time in Ritz, we went for dinner in Glosis Ciwalk
i ordered spaghetti bolognaise
its cream of chicken soup is perfect ... very rich and creamy
unfortunately was too full for dessert
though they have very tempting cheese cake and apple pie
we all sit in one long table and I just love it
I always love dining in one long table coz it seems to convey the spirit of togetherness
price per dinner package: 60.000

and finally the next day we had dimsum in telagasari
i personally like it better in eastern
but telagasari has the best almond pudding in the world
this pudding is just the perfect way to end our excursion
price per plate for dimsum approximately 11.000

mal kelapa gading consists of five parts namely la piazza (cafes and restaurants) and kelapa gading 1,2,3,5 (no 4 as it's considered an unlucky number in chinese)
all parts are interconnected to each other
though rather confused at first (no map available), we managed to navigate our ways through this "junglish" mall and find all the places we wanted to visit
congratulation!!! we are so proud of ourselves ^-^

for lunch, we went to (where else) mie gajah mada
it's located in the food court somewhere around mal 3 and 5
it's kinda tradition that we CANNOT come to jakarta without eating this noodles
so we ordered 2 bakmi ayam and pangsit goreng
and had a lovely delicious lunch

one of our destinations in kelapa gading is secret recipe
located in the ground floor of MKG 3
it's a chain resto from malaysia serving western food
but it's been advertised by the weekender for its cheese cake
so we ordered one piece of oreo cheese cake as you can see below:

aaaah ... this is really cheesecake from heaven!!!
it's very rich, very creamy, very delicious
tastes just right and melts in the mouth ^-^
the price is only 23.000 after tax
so a very decently affordable luxury
many flavours are available: oreo, blueberry, strawberry, new york, marble, etc etc
i'd like to sample ALL of them one day

another destination is the ice cream place Cold Stone
as also advertised in the Weekender
but we're up to an unpleasant surprise when we found out that Cold Stone in kelapa gading is only "opening soon"

the one that's already opened is in Citos (huh, gimana sih, tipu!)
so to substitute, we went to Haagen Dasz
the ice cream we ordered is banana caramel ice cream with two scoops of ice cream
it's so pricey, more than 60.000 per portion
and in the menu, the pancake looks crunchy, curly and brown
unlike the one we got which is pale and flat
one good thing about this place is we got free cold water with the ice cream

the trip is over at 6 pm
we waited outside the mall to be picked up by jen2's kind mom
there're a lot of palm/coconut trees along the way
and that's when jen2 started to sing "suatu hari tatkala kita duduk di tepi pantai ..."
going back to bandung using baraya travel, only 40.000 (cheaper than the ice cream!) but the seats are extremely cramped
arrived in bandung freezing and with sore legs =P

Our newest member in klub icip-icip: Ucil a.k.a Helena Olivia from Cerono =D
She has joined us since coming back from her study in Manila
but is not officially admitted yet (until last thursday) because she doesn't know she has to be initiated in J.CO first
Until finally (after her fiasco bringing a dozen of donuts to campus - it has to be on the spot, neneng! yang bukan member aja pada tau ^-^) we went to J.CO BSM
So welcome Ucil!!!

for drink, we ordered sunda kelapa
ucil's choice though not her first
her preferred avocado coffee was unfortunately not available
though named sunda kelapa, there's nothing coconut-y about this drink
served with strawberry ice cream and chocolate shreds, it tasted very coffee-y indeed

our main course is the famous excelso sandwich with wheat bread
it's delicious beyond belief
jen2 confessed that she had eaten a whole portion by herself once
but as civilized members of icip2, of course we only ate one sandwich each

this is sampler, ci deth's choice
consisting of fries, sausages and chicken
the best thing about excelso is really its french fries
they are slim, golden and so crunchy that they deserve to be labelled the best fries in the world
