pictures from Bogor
all these pictures were taken before the bad thing happened ... now i do believe when people say life in unpredictable. though i also believe that God works behind all that happens to bring good to His children
left bandung late because the driver was inexperienced
at puncak we stopped at sindang rahayu, the official stopping point for Cipaganti
didn't eat anything though it's lunch time ... motion sickness as usual!!
i only had a glass of hot sweet tea and they charged me 2000 for that
i thought tea in West Java should be served for free ...
the restaurant windows were decorated by paintings
(among them are this fish)
sample meal from the hotel
lunch and dinner were served buffet style and the food was not bad actually
however, i end up having severe stomachache
the famous apple pie shop across the hotel
it's open from very early in the morning
and it's nice to get into the shop looking at different pies they sell
although i don't have the chance to buy anything

Cold Stone
Yesterday we read in Weekender about an ice cream creamery in Jakarta. Looks yummy and BIG! I check their website today www.coldstonecreamery.com
So maybe this would be considered as one of icip-icip destination in the (near) future

icip-icip goes international
for icip-icipers ... do you notice that lately our commercial ads have been replaced by the public service ads?
i have checked and it's perhaps because the language we use in this blog (our beloved Bahasa) is NOT one of the languages supported by the adsense programme.
so from now on we have to go international and use english (mostly) to write this blog ^-^
happy writing guys ... seems that ci deth has finally been able to log in with her account again after eating nasi kalong =D

nasi kalong
well ceritanya almost a fortnight ago, aku masukin one my aunts masuk RS Halmahera Siaga gara-gara jatoh terus tulangnya patah 75%. nah... pas pulang dari sana (about 930 p.m.), aku liat ada nasi kalong di seberangnya. tepatnya di jalan riau, sebelahnya branded items FO or something like that. tapi berhubung i was alone and it was quite late, i went straight home.
besoknya pas besuk with my parents, aku bilang ke mereka soal si kalong itu. so they went there to have a try. and it turned out to be great!!!
jadi nasinya item. katanya sih pake keluwek (a sort of indonesian spice or , to be more precise, natural food colour). and they business hours is 8 p.m. till 3 a.m., every day. hence, the name.
yanh punyanya a young couple with two sons. sepertinya yang gede sekitar 9 taunan, yang kecil 6 taun. the food's excellent. too bad i didn't take pictures. masakan rumah gitu. ada kentang yang dikecapin, tahu taosi, ayam madu, buncis bakar, etc., all of which taste great. sambelnya dong..., wuih... dasyat!! enak!
uniknya, mereka tu pake sebagai background music rekaman bondan winarno (bukan bondan prakoso seperti yang neng jean2 bilang! hehehe....) waktu dia dateng untuk wisata kuliner tea. terus lagu-nya di-remix make 'mak nyuss"-nya bondan. lucu deh! quite entertaining. :)
kalo mau ke sana, sebelum jam 8 udah kudu nongol. memang menunya belon lengkap. tapi kalo udah jam 8, apalagi lebih, udah ngantri! soalnya selaen makanannya enak, service-nya juga ok.
the price is quite reasonable. nasi satu porsi kalo ngga salah dihargai 4K. but we can take as much as we want. lauknya 2K untuk yang non-daging. yang ada dagingnya kalo ngga salah 3K. kemaren ini waktu nengok my aunt sama my bro & jean, kita abis 34K bertiga. ngga mahal kan. ;P

MISKAM
Akhirnya kami pergi ke Miskam kemaren kamis
Lokasinya di jalan Lodaya no 8 kalo ga salah
persis setelah lewat lampu merah dan ayam goreng suharti kalo datengnya dari arah gatsu
memang tempatnya agak miskin dan kampungan tapi mie-nya enak
kita pesen dua yamien manis baso, satu mie baso kuah, en satu yamien asin pangsit baso
harga per porsi kira2 10 ribuan
di sana juga ada pangsit goreng dan ci deth ternyata makan empat!!! selamat ci, dirimu berhasil memecahkan rekor klub icip-icip utk urusan makan pangsit goreng
but again no pic karena aku ga bawa kamera dan udah gada yg berkesadaran utk motret
anyone generous, pls buy me a new Viewty cell phone jadi bisa selalu motret dengan kamera 5 MP setiap saat =P

update news
news 1: bugging akan cuti 3 bulan dari klub icip-icip due to her taking an extra job
news 2: mgg ini sebetulnya makan2 cukup banyak
makan es doger di babakan jeruk yg harganya cuman 2500, dapetnya banyak (tape, roti, es, ketan, susu coklat, etc)
makan ke rice bowl (makannya sih mie tapi lumayan enak meskipun mahal) tapi minumnya bisa refill max 2 kali loh
dan yam cha waktu kamis kemaren (mahal banget!) tp akhirnya aku berhasil makan lagi bacang ketan yang dibungkus daun teratai itu (apa ya namanya??)
unfortunately ga bawa kamera jadi ga ada fotonya deh =(
